“Migration has been a good thing for Ireland. We are a country of migrants.” Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said, after the events of the Dublin riots.

The Taoiseach pointed to the example of our hospitals – he himself is a hospital doctor – and continued: “In hospitals, I see how diverse the workforce is there. Our hospitals would not work without migrants.”
