Part of the reason for Dingle’s success as a destination – and as a dining destination – is the fact that the town doesn’t tend to attract the “Look at Meee!” restaurateurs who you find in the big cities.

Instead, the Dingle casting-call has delivered a crew of self-effacing chef-patrons who cook nice grub, and who cook it for everyone.
