St Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and the environment, had such a fine way about him that he could charm the birds down out of the trees.

In St Francis Provisions, in Kinsale, chef Rebeca Recary Sanchez and owner Barbara Nealon are producing cooking of such commanding magnificence that it could perform the same magic.

Barbara Nealon’s restaurant has always been engaging, eclectic and highly personal. Today it remains engaging, eclectic and highly personal, with the added bonus that Rebecca Recary’s cooking brings to the party some of the best food being cooked in Ireland.
