I wish I could agree on the above but tonight myself, my Turkish wife and my two South African friends were left extremely angry when we turned up for our 7pm reservation only to be told the entire restaurant had been booked out for 70 people. I talked to Maria, Ahmed’s partner and to say we were dismissed with no regard would not be overstating things. When I showed her the email thread detailing our conversation including the fact that we had travelled from Limerick to surprise my wife with Turkish food on her birthday I was offered a very curt “Sorry but there is nothing I can do about it”. I could have been contacted in advance so as not to travel the six hour round trip. We could have been accommodated in a corner of the restaurant. Some solution . All we got, after I wrote an email of complaint to Maria was an offer of a €200 voucher. I guess the takings for the night must have been good so they carved 200 out of that. I am back in Limerick and certainly will not be returning to Dede or Baba’de again. Truely awful behaviour. Unforgivable. Birthday ruined
