I’ll never forget my first Paradiso dinner. In simple terms, a mushroom lasagne. The ‘sheets’ of lasagne being paper thin sheets of turnip. It was a joy to behold.

My son bought me a copy of the new book and one for himself. I am making the beetroot risotto today since my oranges have been pickling. We ate at Paradiso 10 years ago and it remains our favorite meal at a restaurant ever.

I'm been wanting to eat at Paradiso since I bought Wild Garlic, Gooseberries… and Me when it came out. Such a refreshing pleasure of a book. I've just had an early copy of the new book and the first scan has me very much looking forward to Sundays long train ride where I can read it more fully. Thanks for a great post, as ever
